Max, Thanks for the pointer anyway - it would have been very handy! i hope it helps someone else out.. The other fix is to play title 4 directly (chapter 13 is the missing one) only drawback is there is a minute of black/silence at the end of the ep prior to the next one starting. Im yet...

Hi Max, That was my fix on doom9 ;-) - I _really_ wanted to watch it properly on my HTPC/HDTV - luckily it sounds like the disc will be re-released.. (I love GITS :) Thats pretty bad about the R1 release - i'd have thaught these would be better as they'd not need to ntsc-pal conversion...
