US theatrical-release films not on DVD (1977-present)

Electric Dreams and Scavenger Hunt. Electric Dreams seems to have no chance of a release due to music rights and I have no idea why Scavenger Hunt is not out yet. I'd be guessing on any other movie as a lot of the ones I'm thinking about are probably direct to home video releases.

Enough already Fox. Are we EVER going to see WKRP released?

I personally wouldn't miss musical changes as long as they put in any similar sounding 70s rock as it rarely contributed to the episode and it all sounded pretty much alike. Until reading this thread, I had thought that the show had nothing but generic 70s rock which was created just for the...

    Rumors of Disney's True-Life Adventures

I had seen 3 of the 4 at my Target tonight. Only one of each of those in stock and I'm not sure if they had many to start with. Highly curious about them, but was not sure if it was worth a buy or not.

Question on the Blurring of Logos/Product Placements

Today (November 9th) I was briefly watching The A-Team on TV Land and I noticed that the logos on the tow truck was blurred out. I thought this was pretty odd and I believe that they was blurring out the FORD logo. I know in modern TV shows (especially reality TV where they cannot control these...

Single-season wonders that deserve a DVD release

Mr. Merlin - It's been nearly 20 years since I've seen reruns of it, but I used to love it as much as Voyagers!, but I'm sure it'll be really bad to watch now with an adult mind. Manimal - Also some 20 years, but I did not like it at all back then and I would love to remember why as it's...

Anime TV Shows on DVD: The Questions

Actually there are several series that has been canceled before they released the entire run. The one that comes to my mind which I am waiting for is "I'm Gonna be an Angel" which Broccoli promised will come out, but I seriously doubt it. They took almost two years to release DVD #2, and I have...

    WWE announces 2006 DVD releases

I thought there was supposed to be an Owen Hart tribute DVD out this year as well. A friend of mine told me a quite different list back about 2 months ago. A final Eddie Tribute, perhaps a Macho Man one (depending on if they want to be on good terms with Hogan for this years WM or not). I know...

TV Shows you want on DVD but highly doubt they'll come out.

I'd like to see the old weekly wrestling shows on DVD sets. The stuff from the mid 80s to a few years ago. Something like a "Spring of 1994" complete RAW is WAR set as the sheer number of shows involved would make the sets so numberous and expensive to do it any other way. WCW Nitro, WWF/WWE Raw...

    Spongebob DVDs

I'm single, 32, and love Spongebob as well! LOL! It's great to see I'm not the only one. Anyway, the box sets are definitely what you want. I'm waiting for season three (I think it'll be out by this Christmas if not by next Christmas) and I think a season four will probably take several...

    Which shows have you abandoned?

Sadly I am living in the past and I am very old school camp. I feel the new series is a new Who for the next generation. I'm stuck with the 4th to 7th Doctors as "my generation". If Doctor Who's "Rose" is any indication of things to come, then I'll pass on those DVDs sets mostly because they are...

    Which shows have you abandoned?

I tend to buy a lot of Sci-fi, Comedy, and Cartoons series so... Sci-fi: Sliders Season 4 and 5 -- I'll probably avoid if they ever release those unless they are half the price of what the current set sold for. It's pretty painful watching those on Sci-fi so I don't know if I want to get...
