Considering what the film's star did, I sincerely doubt that any film studio would be pushing a new version of this.

Two things: 1. Watch it. Watch all of it. It is the best DVD release of the year. Two top-quality films and tons of extras that fully enhance the experience of viewing these fine films. 2. If this set is really gone already, then, yes, we should be glad that we have it. We are lucky ones.
