well, the HD made xbox 1 a whole lot easier to modify. in other words you can copy your games to the HD. that could be the reason. not that i know how to do this or anything. :) Johnny

I have the same problem, I adjusted my brightness and contrast using a DVE dvd, no help. It was like this when I bought it so I learned to live with it. Is your tv an RPTV Joe? Thats what I have. Is there no way to adjust this? I have access to my service menu, but I dont want to adjust...

Recently I started to notice my TV looks slightly brighter in the middle of the screen. Ive had it for about a year and never noticed it before. Its really only noticable with a black background and text. Is this normal for an RPTV? Johnny

my buddy has his surrounds in front of him, pointing at the tv, he still doesnt understand the concept, even after listening to mine many times. although i think his wife makes him do it because it looks better somehow. women and HT rarely mix. i dont watch movies at his house, so i dont argue...
