Dackz, I find bass to be more pronounced on "DTS" than "Dolby Digital" films. I have a Led Zepplin DVD that exhibits a considerable difference between the two. You may need to adust your sub's level depending on what the movie is applying at the time. Al Wise

DiegoD, How do you have the sub connected to the receiver? If it is a self powered sub, you should be connecting it to your "LFE" out on the receiver. You will then need to go into the receiver's set up menu and and select "LFE" and set the appropriate cross over point. Al Wise
