Hmmm, a week later and my orders are still "processing".

Finally a decent "final price" on HD-DVDs. Shipping is free, so all said and done, each movie comes out to just under $6.00, as they do apply sales tax. I picked up 8 movies.

All these HD DVD "sales" are getting me pretty frustrated. When you still end up paying $20 per movie, it isn't really a sale in my opinion. Nobody takes the regular price seriously (rightly so, as $30-$40 is outrageous), so the "sale" price still ends up being a joke. For a discontinued format...

There is no difference between outputting 1080i or 1080p from your disc player if you have a digital display, the same picture information is being displayed in either case. The only case in which you are losing picture information is if your set cannot display 1920x1080.
