I just picked up a new-in-box 8200 in Ottawa for $1850 Canadian from an authorized dealer. You can then get the upgrade from Marantz which brings the 8200 up to 8300 specs (including the fixed sync delay) for an additional 300 Canadian or so.
I don't think either of those sites are brand authorized dealers, are they? If not, then you are out of luck as far as manufacturers warranty goes and you have to rely on the e-dealers warranty. Plus, if you have any warranty issues with a e-dealer you are usually stuck with shipping costs for...
Sell it to me :) Seriously, I would wait for a while until the fight between LCD and DLP settles down and the technology improves. There is a wack of things that can go wrong with the new techs like stuck pixels and bad mirrors, so you would just be trading one worry for another.
