I was firmly in the "disco sucks" camp in the 70's. Couldn't stand the stuff. Today, it is still hard to listen to, but prefer it to hip-hop and the generic sounding "dance-pop" crap that has filled the airwaves the last 10 years.

For Hi-Rez blues I would definitely list the Junior Wells as a must-buy. Sonics are impeccable, the surround mix is great and though it may not be Junior Well's best record, it is still a damn good one and a very fun listen. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with this disc.
