A Thanksgiving Story - I have always enjoyed Thanksgiving, the food, family, friends, football games, movies, and the official start to the Holiday Season. Each Thanksgiving we would quickly pause for a prayer of thanks. I am unsure if this was out of a true place of gratitude or if it was...
I have been a long time reader of this forum and have always found highly credible information on a variety of topics. I took the recommendation of TV Authority from the HTF Market Place and ordered 8 - 42" Plasma Screens for 2 public safety Operations Centers that I run. TV Authority stated...
I am helping a friend hook up his VR-7070 receiver. He has no manual for the receiver. I have everything hooked up with no problems except the pre-wired speakers he has on his patio. I have searched but can't find anything to specifically help me with this problem. My question is this: He...
I must also echo the sentiment of not paying attention to reviews. I hate to say it but not very often do they reflect what I enjoy in a movie. I was unsure what to expect from this movie but must say that I completely enjoyed it. It was over 2 hours long and not once did I think, when is this...
Brad, I too have the same question. I would like to be able to send all of my sources through the component in on the projector. I am unsure if there is something that will allow you to split them from the projector without degrading quality?
A note on the flicker tweak settings. I got into the setup just like the other posts on this thread. I had the projector on for about 1 hour before setting it. My factory presets where as follows: Ceiling Green - 81 Ceiling Red - 82 Ceiling Blue - 81 Desk Green - 82 Desk Red - 82 Desk...
Ok, excuse my ignorance....do the pictures have to be available on the WWW to link in this forum, or can they be on your desktop and just link them from there?
Ok I have pics but am bad at figuring out how to get them on forums. If someone lets me know I will upload them at work tomorrow morning. Just not sure how the tags work. Peter
I also rolled my paint on the screen. Using a bedsheet I found the very first coat was very frustrating. It was hard to keep even while painting because it was obsorbing slightly into the fabric. The second coat was much easier and the Gray third coat was extremely easy. Even looking at it from...
Ron, Well it has been a few days since I wrote last. Wanted to update you on my screen. I had a bright white base coat of Lowes paint and was happy with it but it was a little washed out in the bright scenes. I got a gallon of the Lowes Plank Gray and did the whole thing about 4 nights ago...
Hi Guys, I just finished getting my screen mounted on the wall. I bought the exact paint that Ron used Lowes Valspar Gray Plank Interior Flat. I did need to get the codes that Ron posted a while back to get it mixed. Ron, I have a base coat of ultra white on my screen right now, things look...
Just an update on Projector People not the projector itself. I finally opened the free screen from Da-Lite and noticed a very very small crease in the frame. Nothing that you would even notice once installed, purely cosmetic. I figured that since I am selling mine on E-bay that it would be good...
Well just a quick update. I moved my 61" Diamond Series Mitsubishi TV to my other room and hooked it back up with my old setup. I am suprised to say this but the picture on a Mitsubishi RPTV Diamond series is not as good as the clarity of the 200U. I still only have it projected on a 260 thread...
Well I had a few more hours to work with my 200U. I thought I was happy the first night but I bought a new Panasonic F85S DVD player and also ran it through component cables + optical Bitstream audio to my receiver. WOW is all that comes to mind. I have a 107" screen in 16:9 right now, I am...
Well I received my L200U today when I returned home from work. Needless to say I am totally impressed. This is with just getting my old bigscreen out of the way and setting up the temporary Da-Lite screen. I set the projector on the table and ran my cables and put in The Patriot. With no...
Congrats, when I get home my new Panny 200u is awaiting. So I will be curious to know your fabric color. Funny I was thinking the exact same thing about finding a suitable fabric color instead of painting. Good Luck. Peter
Well after checking things out for a few days I just ordered my L200U from Rachal at Projector People. I looked at some demo units from Sharp and the specs on the Panny is much better so I figure I can't go wrong. I will have it friday and am building a screen tomorrow. I also now have a 61"...
