Can't you get a cheap bundle from Ebay? I think you could get a 300' or 500' spool for like close to $.25/ft shipped. Bananas can also be found there but they're always kind of expensive.

What are you currently using? If you're using a receiver, you might as well pick this up and power your L/R mains which then leaves more power for the rest of your HT setup.

Yeah - it's because they're worried about how these internet company fronts - which are actually just a group of resellers providing the product - will hurt in store sales. Manufacturers also do not like being on the line for warranty replacements for those not bought in store.

That's not necessarily the case. My Rotel has gotten the 200Mhz component upgrade so it definitely will handle any HDTV / Progressive scan that you throw at it.
