You've got to wonder though if "Miami Vice": Season 1 contains all broadcast music (knock on wood) then they will have proved that it IS possible to overcome the tricky music situation.
Are you sure there was heavy music replacement on this shows DVD release? I just picked up the R2 release and the first 4 episodes have tons of 60's hits sung by original artists...
I have the first two seasons of NYPD Blue on DVD. It is a great show. The third season is waiting in the wings till Fox can find a gap in the crowded market. Hill Street Blues is being looked at from what people on here have mentioned. I imagine a 1st Season boxset will appear some time in 2005...
The acting was first rate throughout. Don Johnson even though he has his critics due to his reported ego was fantastic in the role of Sonny Crockett. He is an Icon of 80's Pop Culture. Edward James Olmos is always value for money and the rest of the cast performed very well. The show was a lot...
As long as they don't f*** up "Miami Vice" I'll be a happy camper. :D :emoji_thumbsup: PS- I'll pick this "Knight Rider" set up when it hits the UK. I love 80's TV.
When you add together its worldwide takings, DVD sales etc this film will have made money. The US box office covered its budget and marketing so the worldwide takings and DVD sales should see a decent profit. I thought the film was average though...
Season 2 is out in the UK on monday and I shall be buying. I hear the 1st season sold very well so I imagine Season 3 and Season 4 will be out by summer 2005. Starsky and Hutch is one of the biggest and most popular TV shows of all time. I'm sure the whole lot will be released on DVD. :D...
We need The Fall Guy I agree. Lee Majors is a god. As for Shatner and the stop, drop and roll routine... well it was the 80's. You had to look stylish when chasing those criminals. Not like the bland 90's when "Gritty Reality" kicked in (Shudders).
Millennium: Season 2 and Season 3 are scheduled for release in the UK in September and October. I just bought Season 1 this morning. i'm lovin' it. :D :emoji_thumbsup:
Its in the booklet baby! :D :emoji_thumbsup: PS- Is that your real name Randy? If so you should consider a career in "Adult" movies. Randy Summers, best name I've heard this decade. :emoji_thumbsup: :emoji_thumbsup: :emoji_thumbsup:
Can someone offer exact info on the music replacements? Is the theme tune intact? The 1st Season is being released here in the UK and if the music changes aren't too bad I shall be buying. :D
Great news. With this announcement and Universal hopefully releasing "Miami Vice" and "Kojak" in the future plus Columbia's good work with "Starsky and Hutch" things are looking good for classic Cop shows. :D :emoji_thumbsup:
I started my Kool collection with - Kool and the Gang: The Funk Collection and Kool and the Gang: Best of 1979-1987. I like the 70's Funk numbers a lot. Really fantastic stuff. Personal favs at this moment are "Hollywood Swinging" (sampled by Puff Daddy a Mase I think?), "Funky Stuff"...
