    Optoma H30

I have looked at both these pjs. Sadly not side by side but in sim lighting. The 4805 was the one for me. The 16:9 aspect is better for watching dvds. All the light output is being used. But the real killer was the image when using the 4805s dvi connection. It's sharper, richer, better blacks...

    Optoma H30 better than Z2 or L500?

As a suggestion from someone who hasn't got a barrel to push. (I don't own any of these models) You need to deside what you are going to use the Projector for the most. Watching HDTV, (something that we will probably never see over here) DVD, TV etc. The other is the environment you are...

The onkyo is another unit I looked at and although I have heard nothing really negitive most comments from people have headed more for the Marantz because of...

Marantz 7300 + Denon 1600 VS. Sony AVD-S50ES (no comparison?)

Sorry Jeremy didn't mean too. Must admit I do look at looks too. The Marantz does appeal in a big square bulky (Grunty) sort of way. The Sony would make a good bedroom unit (If you bought both ;) )Sleek and unobtrusive. Which ever You chose have fun.

Marantz 7300 + Denon 1600 VS. Sony AVD-S50ES (no comparison?)

If you like the looks of the all in one sony, buy it. But if you are after performance and features then Receiver wise the marantz eats the sony and spits out the plug. Can't say on the denon dvd player as I've never looked at the thing, but when I listen to music or watch a movie I don't sit...

Sorry mate. But trying to get info on any Marantz bandwidths is like getting blood from a stone. I've been trying on the 7300 for some time now and can't find a thing. Good luck.
