Nancy Drew / Hardy Boys Mysteries Season 2?

I'm joining the party late, but I'm thrilled that we're getting season 2 of Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew. I've been rationing out the episodes on the first set - one every few months -fearing that we might never get any more. I'd hope it's now likely that the releases are completed with a third set...

    Ironside (Season 1)

Oh man, I REALLY hope this is the case! I love Ironside - an intelligent, engaging crime drama ahead of its time. I just hope the releases prove popular enough that we get all the seasons, including the later ones with Elizabeth Bauer as Fran Belding - haven't seen those in YEARS! Roll...

What is the one show you think has been ignored that should be released on DVD?

Well said that man! I'd love to get Ironside on DVD - I just hope that it would prove popular enough to eventually get all the seasons. It's been a long time since I've been able to watch the Fran Belding episodes. Bring it on!

Is it me, or has 2006 been the worst year for tv on dvd..so far?

I don't know - I'm hopeful we might see more. A new Nancy Drew feature film is currently being shot starring Julia Roberts' niece, IIRC, so I reckon Universal might be keen to capitalise with tie-in DVD releases featuring the girl detective. I only hope they bring more Hardy Boys with them...

Nancy Drew / Hardy Boys Mysteries Season 2?

I'm really hoping that we get more Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew! I only had vague memories of watching this at the time it was on, but the DVDs have proven immensely enjoyable. Apparently a new Nancy Drew film is in development so perhaps this might encourage Universal to continue with these...

    Blu_Ray vs HD-DVD or Wait?

Personally, I feel that Blu-Ray is the superior and preferable format, and hope it will win out. However, for those torn between the two formats this has just been posted by High Deff on the AV Forums

Awesome! Magnum P.I. Season One Coming This Summer

Very nice packaging, and I can't wait for this set, but why couldn't they have used the famous yellow, lower-case font used in the title sequence of each episode? http://www.pamelasusanshoop.com/Magnumlogo-200.jpg David

Running Down the Universal Properties - popular series

Quincy, Ironside and The Rockford Files are top of my list, although there are so many great shows in the Universal vaults that I hope we get a good percentage of them. David

Awesome! Magnum P.I. Season One Coming This Summer

The Rockford Files is the last big title from the infamous Universal nine that I'm still waiting for. Still, great news about MagPI. BTW, the famous theme tune emerges during the course of the first season, supplanting the original one by about two-thirds through. David

Hawaii Five-O - Any Interest Out There?

I'd love to see Five-O on DVD. Granada Plus have been showing it constantly in the UK for years, but recently have started showing early episodes that look much more clean, colourful and vibrant than previous broadcasts. Looks like this is evidence of remastering. Current broadcasts of...

who's with me for seasons of Mission: Impossible?

I'm eagerly awaiting season sets of Mission: Impossible. I'm just fearful that Paramount may decide to skip the more obscure first-season, which starred Steven Hill instead of Peter Graves, or that they might decide to go for "Best Of.." collections instead of season-by-season sets. There...

I popped in the Flaming Moe's episode and can report that it certainly sounds like Aerosmith performing "Walk This Way," if that's the song in question. David

Alias possibly coming to DVD in September '03!!!

Great to have an advance review, but if anyone gets hold of this set could they possibly report if the episodes retain the "Previously on Alias..." introductions from the start? Kind of an essential element on a show as complicated as Alias, I reckon, so here's hoping. David.

HTF REVIEW: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - The Complete Second Season

Great review of a very attractive set, and nice to see a reference to CSI's antecedent, Quincy. The adventures of Jack Klugman's irascible coronor are repeated in an endless loop on the UK's main TV channels but still remain incredibly enjoyable and popular. Surely the success of CSI and...

HTF REVIEW: The Simpsons - The Complete Third Season (Highly Recommended!)

I'm very picky when it comes to picture quality, so I was somewhat apprehensive when I received this set today, debating whether to open it or wait for other reviews. With a mixture of relief and delight I'm can report that, from my standpoint at least, these episodes look fine - easily...

CSI S2 - Canadian and US identical?

Where is Mission Impossible (tv) on dvd?...

Next to Star Trek I'd say Mission: Impossible has to be one of the biggest TV and film franchises that Paramount can boast, so I'm also surprised they've yet to begin releasing the show on DVD. Here's hoping Paramount gets into gear and starts releasing season sets, beginning with the often...

My Homicide Set has Shipped But I've seen no Online Reviews
