I've done this on my 27AF41 and it looks amazing. I have to change the HIT from like 35 down to 1f, and the DPC down to 1e. So different sets are set differently. It looks amazing though, I find it hard to watch in non-anamorphic now.

Honestly I am not sure if they can tell... Just set everything back to the default values (you did write them down right?) and see how it looks. Then try adjusting it again.

I've got that same set and I noticed a similar problem. I don;t think there are any convergence grids built in to the set, so I use the THX setup from Fight Club, it has a pattern with boxes on it that I found to work OK. I adjusted it from teh service menu, and here's what I did...but be sure...
