I just finished watching Season 2 on DVD. Does anyone know if they are going to go back and show the earlier episodes from this season? I remember HBO showed a marathon of back-to-back episodes of ROME to catch everyone up at mid-season. Sorry if this question has been asked before, I didn't...
I found it interesting that they cleaned up the infamous "snake reflection" for Indy's scene, but the reflection is still there when Marian is thrown into the Well of Souls (and has a similar encounter with the same cobra). Or am I imagining things?
Yes, definitely have a look at Digital Blasphemy (I'm biased). Here are some others: Visionary Places Shifted Reality Plasma Design Moodflow Mike Bonnell 3D Passion
As an artist, I wholeheartedly agree that copyrights need to be protected. If you let people get away with abusing your copyrights, then it is all the more difficult to legally enforce them when the need arises. Still, if the studios are going to clamp down on this sort of thing then I think...
Deepdiscount.dvd lists "Life of Mammals" as being Full Screen, yet Amazon.com lists it as Anamorphic Widescreen. I'm pretty sure this title is Widescreen (given that it Blue Planet was widescreen and this is another BBC documentary), but does anyone have a definitive word? I looked all over...
A New Hope -- The opening firefight. Return of the Jedi -- Vader turns on the Emperor and saves his son. The Matrix -- "Welcome to the desert of the real". The Matrix -- "I know Kung Fu!" "Show me..." Hero -- The leaf battle. Jaws -- Quint's demise. FOTR -- The prologue.
Reversable covers sound like a great compromise. My point was that Noggin covers make it easy (for J6P's like me) to quickly & easily parse the movies on the retailer's shelf (especially while the wife is waiting impatiently).
Everyone around here seems to hate these "floating head" covers. I can understand why. The original theater poster art is, in most cases, far more artistic. The "noggin" covers are here to stay however. I can see their value while I am browsing the stacks of DVDs at BB or some other...

I thought the "Paladin of the Lost Hour" was an especially poignant Twilight Zone. It was a great series that deserves to be re-released. Maybe Spielburg's Amazing Stories too?
Forgive me if this has been addressed before, but I had a question regarding the Eye Surgeon. He seemed to have a beef with Anderton (it was Anderton who put him away) so I was thinking he was going to botch the operation or do some horrible thing. He doesn't though. Did I miss something here...
I haven't gotten around to watching the movie yet (hopefully tonight!). I did, however, check out the trailers and I really enjoyed the one for Black Hawk Down. It looked to be Anamorphic and in 5.1. Quite impressive! Too bad it was left off the BHD disc...
This may bave been posted on this board before, and my apologies if so. I saw this nice collection of photos from TTT and thought you folks might be interested.
