I agree with the anti-AMC feelings,... I even called my cable company and asked them to remove it from their lineup. However,.... THE FRIENDS OF EDDIE COYLE is a great, great, great film. Very likely Robert Mitchum's best performance, and lots of great supporting perf's- a filmlover's...
Is this a remake of the 1958 Roger Corman movie of the same name? IMDb doesn't say one way or the other, but it lists the late Samuel Z. Arkoff among it's producers, so I'm guessing there's some connection. All in all, this sounds like something I need to check out!

Dustin D asks:
"What about Buffy, the Vampire Slayer? Not sure if that's cult or not."
I don't see why not. I'm not sure I've actually ever seen the movie, but the cult status of the TV show insures that people will be going back to the original movie for years to come.
Well, I was going to do 100 but I couldn't stop, so I went all the way up to 200. I purposely didn't include anything already mentioned (I hope, correct me if I missed something). I had The Mack on the list, but since Reginald just added that, I replaced it with The Candy Tangerine Man.

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
After Hours

Everything Peter mentioned is right on. I'd also recommend you check a couple of actor Robert Clarke's films:
THE ASTOUNDING SHE MONSTER (1957, Image Entertainment)- a very Wood-ian effort, it even features one of Eddie's favorite actors, Keene Duncan.
THE HIDEOUS SUN DEMON (1958, Image...
