Not that I don't agree with your sentiment, but this is a 2.35 film. The only other 2.35 film they released was A Bug's Life, which was released with two aspect ratios. I look at it as a good thing. This way, they don't waste half of my two disc set with a fullscreen version that I will never...
This was brought up in the big Star Wars thread, but never answered. Anyone know what is going on? I would have expected big coverage of the SW release.

I assumed that was the case. It is unfortunate, the title cards look very out of place in the episodes. I agree that it would have been nice to have these episodes restored to their original form.
Is it just me or do all of the title cards for the Jetsons have Orbity in them. They are listed as 1962-1963, I thought Orbity was not in the show until the 80s?
Most likely they have been delayed until 'Man on Fire' is released on dvd this fall. Most likely the rumored 'Top Gun' SE will be released around that time as well.
I was hoping to ask about future 'Golden Collection' releases, both Looney Tunes and Hanna Barbera. Hopefully, there will be many more future releases. -Chad
Dane, you're not crazy, I saw that as well when it was first posted. Someone obviously fixed it. Back on topic, I am very excited. Glad the price tag is $39 MSRP. -Chad
The first three trailers are pretty good. Airport and Airport 1975 are both non-anamorphic widescreen, '77 and Concorde are full screen. The trailer for Concorde is horrible, I am assuming the movie is just as bad. It just flows along, no voice over, nothing. Very poor trailer, can't imagine...
I picked it up today, but won't have a chance to look at it until later. But it states that it features a 51- minute Making of with footage never seen before. Along with a new interview with Alvert Maysles, who also provides a commentary for the main film. Sounds pretty good...
I was thinking about it again last night when I saw Roscoe Lee Browne's guest appearance on Law and Order last night. Now I wish I could spell better when I type 'athlete'. I'm sure when we finally get this one, it will be P&S.
With 'Strongest Man in the World' coming out, I am holding out hope that 'World's Greatest Athelete' is released this year. I will wait on Herbie until I see definitive specs.
