I'm considering this as a blind purchase, as I'm currently doing some work with the composer of the music for the series. It doesn't hurt that I'm a big science fiction fan, but I haven't had time recently to watch much television, much less all my DVDs. Bruce

Thanks for the comments. I'm currently interested in Sirius because of their NPR channel. Living in the hills as I do, I get spotty coverage. One of my major concerns with Sirius is that they don't seem to have the expanded line of receivers as XM does. I guess it may be that their product...

Well, you can get 1 here: Connections 1 2 and 3 were released by Discovery Channel, and to the best of my knowledge were only available on VHS. Bruce

Indeed.... I recently installed a copy on my father's machine, and it took about 15 minutes for it to process all of the data. Of course, he's running virtual PC on a iBook, just so he can run DVDProfiler, but still :) In fact, it timed out during the download, so I had to restart it...

Well, it is a worthwhile repurchase, in my opinion. I remember seeing this movie when it was first released, and was quite disappointed with the first transfer. This re-release makes me quite happy! Can't wait to get it in my grubby little hands. Bruce

If you upload to "my profiler", it will automatically update all of the profiles. Bruce

It's been this way since release (There is something about it on their website). You can go to "my profiler" at their website and get a copy downloaded of your discs that way, but it isn't enabled via the application yet. Bruce

I think that if you try to upload them to "My Profiler", it will tag them all and download them as well. But I still think the easiest is to do as Mark Wilson suggested. Go to options, click on low quality resolution, then high quality, and it will tag them all for download. Bruce
