Happy birthday, Cees, and apologies for the late reply. My father sadly passed away a few days before our birthday, and my wife and I are expecting our second child (10 years later ) in a few weeks, so I have been preoccupied to say the least. Let's hope the latter keeps me young(er) a bit...
Yikes, I'm way late. I could have sworn I stopped by, but I guess that was last year. Let it be known that 45 is when my mind finally started to go downhill.
Happy birthday, Cees!
Late again this year...2017 is off to a busy start, thanks to an ongoing remodel at home and a server crash at work. Happy birthday to Cees, and thanks for all of the birthday wishes and presents!
I appreciate that, Cees, and thanks for the birthday wishes. Would it also be an abuse of power for Mike to post the usual birthday pictures now that he is a moderator? ;)
So, you know what? I'm going to (mis-)use my powers to change the name of this thread and simply add yours too!
Happy...
He turned three last month, actually, and is still an only child. We'll see if we can remedy that before I get too old. ;) Glad to see you are still doing well!
Thanks again, Mike...not sure you could ever get tired of those two. I'll leave it up to you to decide which two I mean, but I suppose the answer is correct regardless. ;)
Apologies for the belated birthday wishes this year, Cess, but I do have a couple of excuses. First, I have been down with the flu for the past couple of days. Second, and more importantly, we just had our first child six weeks ago, and he takes up whatever waking (and occasionally sleeping)...
Cees, I agree with you about the two jobs...can't complain, really, and I can set my own hours and workload for the freelance stuff. Completing and selling the second house would allow my wife to cut back on her hours and go to nursing school full time, however, so that's what we are shooting...
Bump. /img/vbsmilies/htf/biggrin.gif">
I hardly recognize this place with the new layout. Oh, and last year's reason for my lack of posting still holds true for 2010. We still haven't finished either house.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, Cees, and same to you.
I made a point to return and bump the thread, but I just don't have the time to spend on HTF like I used to. I am working two jobs (my full-time position, plus freelance design work on the side), my wife has a full-time job and now attends...
That is cool, but it's no PowerOrgasm.
(I cannot vouch for the OS X version, but the original version worked like a charm on my PowerBook 5300 in the mid-90's.)
I'm a little late to the party, but I have always loved the Logitech TrackMan Marble and its variants. I started off with the three-button ADB version under Mac OS 7.5 over ten years ago, and I currently have the TrackMan Wheel, which is optical and doesn't require periodic cleaning. I have...
I second the OnyX recommendation. Cyberduck gave me fits as well, so I bit the bullet and purchased Transmit for work and Yummy FTP for home (only because it was a MacZOT! $10 special). Both are both excellent FTP clients. Also...
TextWrangler - My default text editor, used for all of my...
Damn, Ron...I think I'd go insane with that many icons in my Dock on a 30" monitor. Glad to see you opted for one of the two best Mac FTP clients in Yummy FTP, though. I use Yummy at home and Transmit at work, and find both to be excellent. Now, head over to InterfaceLIFT and get rid of that...
I will definitely come back for this thread once I am no longer playing second fiddle in it. ;)
Kidding...I hope we're both around to enjoy it for a long time.
