Hi I bought a DVD-Audio disc with a DTS 24/96 soundtrack, (Queen a night at the Opera). Feeding the 1066 with the track, I get a DTS-ES 6.1 DISCRETE stream recognition, no way to switch to regular DTS on the 1066. The sound is very good thus I wonder what does the 1066 really decodes...

Another finding : if you press the remote's "Menu" button long enough, that will turn off the 1066's display. It will then turn on again each time you press something and go off automatically a few seconds later. To restore display, just press and hold Menu again ;)

Hi Just downloaded the file and took a look at it using a hex editor. Around position 24876 in Hexa, there's some strings for a Tuner setup like "FM", "AM", "100Khz", "Auto Step" "RDS" and associated music styles. Does the 1066 shares the firmware with the RSX-1055 ?

Hi, I just received a new upgrade file from Rotel, named sp1066upgrade.bin . no mention of the firmware's version. I did a binary compare with version 1.42 and its different. Is that the 1.43 ? Anyone knows what's changed from 1.42 ? Thanks
