Has anyone seen a dark brown line along the left edge of the projected image? This just showed up one day and I don't know what is the problem. Any ideas would help? Thanks.....

Jim,I picked up 450RG about a week ago to replace my old Sony Receiver. It is great the digital out works well and the on screen caller ID function is nice. The only thing is it doesn't have a favorites list like my Sony but for $80 I can't complain. Later Haywood :cool:

Michael, My vote is for the Denon. But the best thing to do is demo both receivers and see which one sounds the best to you. Try using the same speakers you are going to be using at home or at least the same set of speakers in the store when demoing. Later Haywood :cool:

Hey Guys Just to clear things up a little. HBO only broadcasts 5.1 material on HBO/Channel 501 and HBOW/Channel 504 on DTV. Starz/520 also broadcasts some 5.1 material. I don't have Showtime so I can't verify those broadcasts. Before the program starts they always tell you what format is...

Well Jeffry let me see if I can help. You can leave the cable connected the same way and still use PIP. To get the sattelite in the mix you need to connect it to another video input 1 or 2 for example. You should only need one receiver but if you want to use it to watch more than one sat...

Hey Richard I have to agree with Michael on this one. Get the largest size you can afford. I went from a 25" to 27" to a 32" to a 55" RPTV in about two years. Imagine the time and money I would have saved if I just bought the 55" from the start. :D I sit about 9 feet away from my non-HD set...

Eddie, take a look at the set-up menu and make sure that the the audio inputs are assigned as analog and not digital. My friend had that problem with his Kenwood but he didn't find out until after he had taken it in for repair. :D Luckily it was still under warranty so he didn't have to pay...

Johnson, I have a 1602 and that is set to Auto mode. Any material that is not DD 5.1 or DTS I just use PL II. You should not have to make any change on the receiver, it should default to PL II automatically. Later Haywood :cool:

Jason the 1802 is 80x5 while the 1602 is 70x5 not really a major power difference but a good $100-$150 difference in price. As far as features there are only a few small differences. If you have speakers with a decent efficieny rating you should have a no problem with the 1602 or 1802, you can...
