Apparently the new Dukes of H. live action movie will star Jessica Simpson as Daisy (and Britney Spears loses out... aw). On another note, the line up for this week looks good... Eurotrip, and Herbie! Yeah... J
I posted this on another page, but I don't want to retype it all... RCA makes a wireless transmitter reciever kit that will allow transmission of rear channel sound by plugging in regular speakers to it. The transmitter and reciever work at 5.8Ghz and all you need to do is plug the speaker...

I still have a FF:X game that I havn't finished... sitting a little past 1/2 way done. It just lost my attention. FF:X-2 on the otherhand is much easier to pick up and play, and enjoy. There's a ton to do here... I believe that it was worth my $$. Jim
All I have to say is..."Wow"... it was pretty durn groovy, and it really hasn't sunk in yet. I went with some friends, and unfortunatly, we both were coming up with MST3K one-liners at times... so I have to admit that I was a bit distracted, but all in all... "Wow". Truely an epic movie...
Works pretty good on my P4 2.4 Gz.. Radeon 9500 Pro... Set it to Vsync, and havn't tried dropping the pixel shaders yet... I have to say that I like the XBox graphics and the force feedback... but I LOVE the keyboard mouse combo. I'm not a die-hard FPS person, but being able to use the mouse...
My DTivo did that... what I did to solve it (and MASH which I like has 2 thumbs up) is to add a $#^T#$^-load of thumbs for every and any show that I might like or dislike. Heck.. I even went down the spanish language channel hour by hour in the guide and triple down checked ever show that was...
Hehe... I got mine the other day from RS (it helps that I am frequently at one for employment reasons...). In anycase, it's a neat little machine, and seems to be decent for the price. It has slightly better picture quality than my Apex (the infamous first one with the region free mode AD-600?)...
I'm a total PC guy myself (got three desktops all puttering away). But I got an iBook from Apple. I've been very impressed with it, and what the capabilites of it were. I think it's near the top of your price range, but I'd defiantly advise at least (if you're near an apple store) checking one...
Also, through the end of June sometime, Radioshack will have their X-Box bundle... Xbox (naturally) with S controller, Extra original controller, controller extension cables (2), JSRF w/ strategy guide, Sega GT 2002 w/ strategy guide, $50 in coupons (your guess is as good as mine), and...
Yeah... don't forget that if you preorder Zelda (most anyplay that I've seen)... you get the bonus disk with Ocarina of Time, and Master Quest. It's a pretty nice effort to get you to order Zelda Wind Waker, but the OOT is one of THE BEST games ever. It just rocks Jim
Damn... that's a loud card! Didn't NVidia get screwed by Microsoft on the XBox's chipset? I think it was when MS changed the security settings to make it hack proof again... Anyway, I've seen 9700 AIW's on Pricewatch for under $400... so you might wnat to take a look there... Jim
Maybe try J&R... they've done well by me... And, their at Park Row so it's in the city (think their warehouse is in NJ). I've gotten some parts from them over the years, and they've been nice on the phone, and pretty helpful in terms of quick shipping (live in the burbs). Jim
Yes.... with some caveats... First, you do need some modem to dial in to your ISP, now, there are two ways that can be done. Either a router (wireless or not) with a modem (they do make them, at least with an external port for a modem -- but I don't know about wireless), or another PC with a...
