The song at the end of "Right to Die" caught my ear too. It isn't on this season's soundtrack and I haven't been able to track it down anywhere. Does anyone know the track used at the end of this episode?
I received the SBS-01 7.1 system Monday and my first impressions are very positive. These speakers replaced a combination of NHT SuperOnes for fronts and center and Energy Take2s for rears. It is wonderful to finally have a proper center speaker. I was a little shocked at the physical size of...
I received this e-mail from TVshowsonDVD.com: Looks like Paladin got lost on the trail...Season 2 delayed - 3:50 AM 1/12/2005 "Have Gun Will Travel - The Complete 2nd Season" is delayed. Read the story about this in the news section of TVShowsOnDVD. URL...
I have the Panasonic DMR-E95H which features the TV Guide utility which I have found to be more trouble than it's worth and ended up disconnecting it. It seems to download program info only sporadically and will suddenly change channels while viewing cable if the Panasonic unit is turned off...
Can someone recommend a good source (online or brick and mortar retailer) that carries a variety of DIRECTV receivers and doesn't just try and sell you a package system? I have specific requirements and would like to find a good site that lists all the inputs and outputs on their receivers...
Could anyone out there playing the PC version of Thief-Deadly Shadows give me a hint of where to look for the Builder's Chalise? I've been through the entire map and cannot find it. Any help would be appreciated.
I read somewhere that this was Howard Hughes' favorite film. He had his own print which he watched over and over again. I don't know when it is coming out on DVD but TCM shows it letterboxed every now and then.
They haven't offered any letterboxed ppv movies for several months. I complained to customer service and got basicly the same response as Steve. I let them know that I won't be signing up for any pay-per-view movies until they offer widescreen versions again.
There is an interesting article in the L.A. Times about a cast and crew reunion and showing of the film tonight in Hollywood.

I am mostly happy with this set. The packaging and artwork are beautifully done but I found the information in the insert booklet to be quite thin. I was hoping for something more substantial like the Criterion inserts that came with Rashomon and The Horse's Mouth. :emoji_thumbsup:

It looks like this story has already been made into a movie with Kenneth Branagh. Due on A&E April 7 and 8.

I haven't seen any reports posted by anyone who participated in the California Meet. Usually attendees post their impressions, experiences, etc. I haven't been able to find a thread on this. I would really like to read about how it was from anyone who was there.

Was anyone able to find out why so many of us (other than the HDTV people) weren't getting HBO Dolby Digital 5.1? I e-mailed DIRECTV and they told me that they broadcast whatever signal they get from HBO. I have a Hughes Dolby Digital 5.1 DIRECTV receiver that gets STARZE and some pay per per...
Ron,
In addition to Alfie, we saw some of the restoration work being done on Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, The Duelists, and an old Roy Rogers film, the name of which I forgot.
