Surviving Desire is available on dvd. It comes with two other Hal Hartley shorts, Theory of Achievement and... uh, i don't remember. Sorry. Anyway, from what i remember the picture isn't the greatest, but the films themselves are excellent. The dvd is available for a good price too.
I'd recommend the entire Art of Buster Keaton boxed set. I've been sharing them with my girlfriend's five year old. He's liked every one he's seen. It tickles me to hear him actually request Buster Keaton over Disney. Man, i wish somebody had shown me Keaton when i was a kid.
