OK, does anyone know where to buy the DVD-A in the US? preferrably the one with the doc. I can't find it online anywhere except amazon UK. Has it not been released in US yet?
The Warning, Rage and Mindcrime were my favorite albums growing up, but this sounds to me like QR needs some $$. The last QR album I really liked is Empire. I half liked PL, the rest is completely uninspiring. I am not getting my hopes up for this. Really...well maybe a little. Revolution
http://www.caviaretc.com/caviar.html I don't know caviar so I am guessing which one it is. The stuff they ate was very black so 1 Kg is $418 for American and $1760 for Russian. I am sure the price for the Russian is very inflated compared to what you can get it for in Russia.
My understanding is that neither player can playback gaplessly. The Rio Karma is the only hd based player right now that can do this. Great player, but no third party support. You can't even get a decent case for the thing.
Lets see, off the top of my head: Westworld, short circuit, D.A.R.Y.L., Bicentenial Man, Iron Giant, Cherry 2000... Can't believe you missed Terminator and Matrix series! Quality varies. :) Probably do a plot search on robot or artifcial intelligence on IMDB and get a whole lot more...
I don't mean to nitpick (I just find it interesting) but the undying lands are not the afterlife. They are just the home of the Valar which had been hidden from the world (after some Numenoreans were tricked by Sauron into trying to claim it to gain immortality). Frodo and Bilbo simply live out...
The house where they open the doors and windows counting down the days? That is called an Advent Calendar. I don't know where you can get one like that (it is a nice one), most I have seen are cheap paper ones. I think they originated in Germany so maybe one of the German HTF members could help...
A mixture of elitism and some crappy programming. This is an amusing bit of satire on the subject: http://www.theonion.com/onion3604/do...elevision.html
My Tivo stopped the recording a minute before the end as well, WB is not sticking to their schedule very well. I really like this show, I do wish though that they would spend a bit more money on the animation, it is pretty cheap looking.
He has done several segments for the Jimmy Kimmel live show, off the top of my head he has gone to Erotica LA convention, the Iditarod, PBA championship, ventriloquist convention... can't think of the others. Hasn't been on in a while though. I get a kick out of him.
Elyse made this show, I was rolling on floor countless times from the snide comments she would always make. I really think her 90% looks comment at the final interview did her in.
There is a ton of character development in the second half of the season. You are pretty much at the begining of the really good stuf. :) Everybody in the cast gets their own episode to really explore the character.
Well, if this CD does have copy protection, then it is pretty crappy. Just ripped a couple of tracks. Plays fine in my computer, plays fine on my Rio Volt.
The only info I have found lists special package with a foldout map as the bonus in the limited edition. 4 songs and "There There" video available for stream at: http://capitolrecords.com/radiohead/player/ Oh and an interesting quote from Thom I found in my searching:
The torpedos released some material that reacts with dark matter causing it to light up. The vulcans had used it in small experiments to study dark matter. Archer got the idea to use it on a large scale. I have only been watching Enterprise off and on, hadn't seen an episode in a couple of...
Anybody heard who they are getting for the next Surreal Life? I don't know how they could keep it interesting without Corey Feldman to laugh at. I just started laughing when I read Rachael Leigh Cook was the star of Fearless! I don't know why, I just cannot picture her in an action role...
