I'd say you have the cpu bus speed set at 100 instead of 133? This is a jumper setting on most socket A boards.

Have you tried simply blasting compressed air into the vents? It MIGHT work out for you.....and be cheaper than a housecall.

Definately MOVE the soundcard if it's in the pci slot that shares the irq with the hotpoint. In fact, don't put anything in that slot unless you HAVE too. The hotpoint is pretty finiky IMHO.

I look at it this way........you bought a hefty projector to USE it. :)
