This is not correct. S-Video is limited to 480i resolution only, and therefore not capable of transmitting HD. I think you may be confusing component with composite.

Did they finally remaster the first season in widescreen or is it still 4:3? I already have all the individual seasons but that would be the thing that would get me to buy this one.
