As far as DVD goes, there were some studios in the past which used the multiangle feature in order to localize titles, credits etc. For instance, R1 BuenaVista titles used to have intro and end credits in French additionally to English ones. On BluRay, this seems to be rather on the decline...

I miss one title here: Escape From New York (Region B Optimum / Ufa / StudioCanal) Disc was mastered from a blown-up SD source for European releases. Consider the Region A version by MGM.

I just noticed that the British Blu-Ray set has been classified BBFC 12. As the one episode censored in the UK, "Attack of the Clones", was rated BBFC PG, it could mean that it could get published uncut for the first time.

Well, the single titles are also available (labeled with "Extended Edition"), so this must be the trilogy box. Unfortunately, I don't understand Dutch; and the German box (where the painted credit sequences are cut out and Swedish audio is missing) is no alternative for me.

Aye, that be true. That's also my preference (and a good exercise for one's English :) ). Unfortunately, in Germany, some independent labels don't include English subs on their discs for licensing reasons.
