I really liked the new KDF-@$5&*6 (that means 42-50) 3 lcd model. When compared to the other micro displays it seemed really nice. Kinda on the red side but I hear that can be fixed. What about when compared to the Dila of JVC?

So I am getting a new set and replacing the old DVD player, what do you all reccomend? I am talking bang for buck here. Unless the difference isnt that big I really dont want to spend 500 dollars on a player I will be replacing w/in 2 years for the new format.

What other TVs have you guys compared with the Sony before you purchased it?

I was thinking about getting the 42" version of that same set. Then I red some things about the red push and recalled how impressed I was by the reds of that set while I was watching it. When I asked the salesperson to place a Samsung DLP next to it you could notice a sharper picture on the sony...
