Ersan: I would send an email to pioneer and ask them which units have a switichable input power setting. I could be wrong, but I thought almost all did. Being cheaper to make them this way than to make 2 kinds.

I looked at the Dolby site that shows the positioning of the 4 back speakers. They show the side speakers at 90 to 110 degrees (directly at the side to back 20 deg). They show the rears at 30 to 45 degrees from straight back. It seems that several people advise placing the sides at 90 deg or...
I suppose that one could try to use several wireless transmitters, albeit on different frequencies, to send information from the source to the unit...but probably with disastrous sync and timing problems.
The use of an amplifier depends on your signal strength. A bad signal in will only be a bad signal out of the amplifier. If you get an amplifier, put it as close to where the cable enters the house, to amplify all of the lines simultaneously.
