Like you, Malcolm, I bought The Black Phone Blu-ray last year. It's a decent thriller and was a solid blind buy, IMO. However, I see little point in double-dipping on a 4K "upgrade." I suspect any enhancements will be minimal at best.
Otherwise for me, I'm waiting on the 4K essential...
Excellent review, Todd! I agree 100%. This is a stunning, stellar transfer and a truly gorgeous presentation. It blows all previously available versions out of the water. There is simply no comparison. If you are a fan of the series, THIS is the way to go!
