I opted for the PDR-10 over 12 as well. I too felt that the "10" sounded much more authoritive in it's bass delivery. It just had more punch for the buck.

I agree with Mark. You should look at a decent set of bookshelf speakers. The Paradigm Titans are a good recommendation. IMHO, you will want to stay away from Japanese speakers in general. They make great electronics, but their speakers are usually overpriced and marketed for people who want...
