Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I have the opportunity to buy a Marantz SR- 8300 AVR in excellent condition. My question is it safe to hook this receiver up to a pair of speakers with a 4 Ohm nominal load? The speakers are a pair of Canton CT-800's TIA, Mike
