For those on the fence about upgrading and still have the original DVD, a $10 rebate is included with the blu-ray, similar to what was included with the Braveheart and Gladiator blu-rays. It's now going for $21.49 on Amazon and with the rebate, it'll come out to be $11.49. Not a bad deal.
Does anyone know what the "i" stands for in iPod, iTunes, or iBook? I had thought the iMac was the first to use "i" and it had stood for internet. Is that still the case?
Does anyone know what would happen if I purchase Futurama Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 at Best Buy, get the $10 discount and then returned Vol. 1? Would I get the full purchase price of Vol. 1 back or the full purchase price minus $10? Perhaps they'll split the difference and just give me the full purchase...
I called the 800-441-5449 number. The customer service rep answered immediately and told me they received my order in mid-January and I should be expecting the Cd's by mid-March.
I've always thought this film was modeled after Psycho. Both films start out as crime thrillers and turn into horror films. The cut off points for both films are also similar, Psycho has Janet Leigh taking a shower and in Dusk 'til Dawn, you've got that snake dance.
I think this show is a riot. How many episodes have there been? I caught last week's show with Yogi Bear and the one shown last sunday with the rock band.
Ian--
On the DVD Universal sent back to me, it's indicated on the disc itself, just to the left of the hole, that it was letterboxed at 2.35. I was initally concerned they might have accidently sent me a corrected Full Screen copy, until I saw that on the disc.
