I only just discovered by accident that there were new shots included in this version of SON OF FRANKENSTEIN. I was completely amazed and elated about it. These are golden goodies I have never, ever seen before - and in such clarity! (I am referring first to a sequence where Josephine Hutchinson...
It will be great to have WILLARD even as a barebones release. But I recall thinking for years that it would have been possible to have Bruce Davison and Ernest Borgnine offer up memories, if not a full audio commentary. Ernie has left us, but Bruce is here.
Great News!! It's what I have been waiting to hear for a long time now! I had lost all hope because there hadn't been any announcement in June. :)
Okay, so having gotten that out of the way, I suppose the inevitable "but's..." should be opined now. Yeah, I do kind of think it's a shame that THE...
Oh, so do I, Bob. However, I think that sometimes the diehard film fan thinks more of intent than the original director may have even originally considered -- at some times (not always). When tops of heads are unusually too cramped and bumping the upper frame, I'm not sure the director would...

By the way - thanks for the welcome back, guys.
I appreciate your diligence in that, Randy ... and I myself as a rule am always a staunch supporter of having things in perfect chronological order whenever possible... but I still feel that The Bowery Boys series is not one which makes a big difference in how they're screened. There are no key...
I just ordered the new Volume 4 Set! I can't believe we now have EVERY Bowery Boys feature! Thanks, everyone, for keeping me updated on this release... I have been checking this thread regularly! I know I'm gonna luv dis set, but den again, dat is a simple seduction!
I did just pitifully this year; I only managed 14 films, but I just really wasn't into it. Spending more time with my music these days...Still, on Halloween I played CITY OF THE DEAD (1960), courtesy of the excellent-looking VCI disc...City of the Dead (1960) ****Sorry, but this movie will still...
