Ron, That is what is really scaring me about this change. I pipe Music Choice via D* out on my pool deck during the summer with an old retired Kenwood pro-logic receiver and some Stereostone speakers (best outdoor speakers,IMHO). I have had both Sirius and XM users rave about the sound...
This is great news for us Parrotheads. Just became a Sirius subscriber two weeks ago, after debating over a year. Tough decision, but this makes it sweeter. I'm just glad I don't have to make up a new email address every few days to sample both services :D :D
Was wondering if anyone had any luck with a cue cat and a USB keyboard? My Compaq has a USB keyboard, a ps/2 mouse port and a ps/2 keyboard port. I plug the cue cat in the available ps/2 port and the "cat" lights up. As soon as I try to scan a barcode, the mouse locks up and I need to reboot...
Just got back from Myrtle a few weeks ago. Check out LEGENDS in Concert on Highway 17 Business, just south of Myrtle Beach if you are into music. Great recreations of music legends. We saw Rod Stewart, Little Richard, Blues Brothers, Liza, Roy Orbison, and Elvis. Great time, even my four year...
Found them in the cold drink section at Eckerd Drugs in Delaware a few hours ago.
More of a cream soda taste, than the vanilla cokes I remember from an old fountain shop that is long gone.
John,
Did Mr. Cook say all who ordered will automatically get refunds? If he did, this is a bad sign. I was just wondering if he meant anyone who didn't want to wait a few weeks longer COULD get a refund.
Thanks for the info.
Jim
David,
Thanks for your post. I for one never worried about getting the release after I paid for it. I always have been worried about the tight-lipness of this release.
I just assumed that when I dialed the number I was calling PFE. When I asked about the release and specs, she told me...
Emil,
Let us know what you find out.
The vibe I got from the second woman I talked to, just bugs me for some reason. Can't really explain it. The whole conversation just ran through my head yesterday a few times.
Jim
Emil,
When I called, she didn't give her name, I said I was interested in purchasing "The Final Countdown" on DVD. I asked if she could give me any specs on it before I purchased. She then told me "That it is widescreen and 5.1" I,without putting my mind in gear promptly stated, "Okay send...
Well I called PFE today and spoke to an operator at the 800 number and she informed me that "The Final Countdown" started to ship yesterday 1-15-02. I asked her what types of specs the dvd had and she informed me that "It is widescreen and 5.1 sound".
Against my better judgement, I went ahead...
I have sent Pacific Family Entertainment three emails over the last three weeks concerning this title. Each email was to a different email address I found on PFE's website. No response from any of these queries.
I too am getting a very bad feeling about this title.
