Actually, after waiting three years for the follow up to Star Wars, I initially was pissed off after seeing ESB. It basically ends abruptly on a cliffhanger, and I had never seen a theatrical movie up until that time that ended like that. I wasn't happy that I'd have to wait another three years...
I don't get all of the hate for this film. It was much better than Crystal Skull. Was anyone clamoring for another Indiana Jones film? Probably not. They should have stopped after Last Crusade, especially with the "everyone riding off into the sunset" ending. IMHO.
Just checked my Apple TV version that I purchased a while ago, and there is a choir in the opening attack scene. And the choir seems to sound louder than the clip that was posted from the previous blu.
Now I'm confused. When I go to the main menu of the film, I have a choice to "Play Film" or play the "Special Edition." They now both have the same running time, and the "Play Film" is 4K/DV/Atmos. The separate "Special Edition" is still showing HD. Is the theatrical cut gone?

"The Abyss" Special Extended Edition is now available via Apple TV. It is in HD and 5.1. The same with "Aliens" Extended Edition. Does anyone know if either of these extended editions will change over to 4K/DV/Atmos, or will that only pertain to the theatrical cuts?
iTunes only has the theatrical cut in 4K/DV/Atmos but doesn't include the extended edition or any extras. I purchased this for the extended edition. What gives?
Here's my list:
1) Raiders
2) Last Crusade
3) Temple of Doom
4) Dial of Destiny
5) Getting a root canal
6) Hitting my finger with a hammer
7) Crystal Skull
I used Costco a few years ago to convert some 8mm and Super 8mm movies, and they did a good job. I'm not sure if they still provide this service or not.
I have to say that, after reading all of the negative reviews about this film, I was a little hesitant to watch it on iTunes in 4K/DV. What I saw looked good. There are some shots that looked a little fuzzy, but they were quick long shots, usually establishing shots, and I just assumed that’s...
