Just wondering, is the 1.66 ratio what was seen in UK theaters, and the 1.85 what was seen in the US? Looking at the movie page of this title on Blu-ray.com they have the technical details for this at 1.75:1...not sure why.
Thank you so much! I did measure, but just wanted someone else to confirm. My OCD doesn't like that they put the wrong ratio on the package, but I can live with it. Now to purchase this title:)
Can anyone confirm the aspect ratio of this title? Package states 2.35:1, but it seems from a copy I borrowed from a friend, it is actually 2.55:1, in comparing it with some other 2.35 movies. I'm guessing maybe it is a misprint from WAC? Anyway, if there is anyone who has actually watched...
A question regarding the aspect ratio for this blu-ray release, as the attachment above shows 2.55-1...why is the blu-ray release of this at 2.35? I did a search in the Aspect Ratio Documentation forum in regards to this title, but no luck.
Thank you all for your input. I always knew that 1.66 was used to about the mid 60s in Britain, but beyond that was unclear. This thread has been an invaluable resource, and if I have any other AR questions, will be sure to ask:)
