Douglas, I agree with Geno.The tonal qualities are the most important aspect. Choosing a speaker from the same manufacturer will (most probably) solve the tonal issues. Alternatively, can the centre speaker be angled downward's to the listening position, to accomodate the height above the TV...

Doug, The 'i's are the next model. I haven't heard the M73's, but using the M71 and M71i as a base, the money spent on the the new model is well worth it. Given the price and size, I cannot recommend the M71i's highly enough. They are a great little speaker, whereas the M71 was very ordinary.

Alex, I don't think changing the rear speakers would make that much of a difference. The rear channels should only be heard on occasionally to create effects. Unless you are unhappy with the Cambridge and tonal qualities are noticable between the fronts and rears, I would look at the...
