Channels that are broadcast over the air (OTA) and free by a broadcasting station are required per the FCC to be unscrambled and free on your cable system. Free meaning that your cable compnay can't charge you more for the HD version. So if your TV has a digital tuner your going to get whatever...

A question for any 5760 owners. Do you get the on screen display through component? I know it doesn't upconvert to component. But reading the manual, it looks like it should but I can't get it to work. Thanks Gene

There have been plenty of mine already mentioned, but one so far I haven't seen is Meet Joe Black. People say its too long because the characters are just looking at eachother and not speaking. I say there's alot to be said in the "unspoken word"!

Something that might effect your decision.. NBC is doing very little of the olympics in HD this year. I think I've read only 12 hours worth. Cheapest way I know now, is to get a 40hr refurbed Tivo for $100. (Includes the 50 buck rebate). Wait 30 days to make sure its not a dud then upgrade...

My guess it's going to be a while. The 3rd season just came out in February I believe, and season 2 came out a year before that. My bet season 4 won't come out till next year. Kinda sucks it takes so long, season 3 had only 8 episodes and with very little extras and it still took a year.
