Actually the correct nomenclature is: DD-EX 5.1 DTS-ES 5.1 (matrix) DTS-ES 6.1 (discrete) The reasoning is that if you actually list a number 5.1 or 6.1 that refers to the number of DISCRETE channels. Since DD-EX is matrix and DTS-ES matrix is obviously matrix they are NOT discrete and...
