i have a question on passing through multichannel audio signals from my Sony blu-ray/SACD player to my TCL 65R615 tv and then to my Samsung J4500 5.1 channel home theater in a box. Details -- my Sony blu-ray BDP-BX38 (sold at Costco; I think identical to BDPS380) -- although lacking the SACD...
While I can't answer your question, it did remind me of John Byner's great comment about Crawford on Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast a few months ago: "On Highway Patrol, do you know why Broderick Crawford was always leaning against the open car door when he was standing and using...
A few years ago the Encore Suspense channel ran the AHH episodes (all, I think) uncut and commercial free. I was able to record them to DVD. Not perfect quality but not bad. Maybe the channel will do that again.
The way I see it, as the upcoming set will contain about 1/4 of the show's episodes, positive sales might lead to the release three similar sets, one after the other, which will thus constitute the complete series run, albeit not in season sets.
I don't have DirecTV and so don't have the Chiller yet, but I have a question on Night Gallery for those who do have the channel. According to the schedule on its website, Chiller is at least broadcasting Night Gallery in the same blocks as originally broadcast, e.g., where the show was...
It's interesting you mention Bob's book. It came out September 19, 2006, the same day as the Season 4 DVD. Sounds like a great opportunity for cross-marketing, huh? Wrong. There was a large ad in USA Today for the book on September 18 or 19, but it contained no mention at all--even a tiny...
Seasons 1 through 4 of the Bob Newhart Show were released every 6 months, starting in April 2005. I e-mailed Gord last week asking why there has not yet been an announcement for Season 5, which would be out in this April (2007) under the past release pattern.
He told me the news is not good...
I was thinking that a funny little extra would have been to include the clip from Married with Children where Al, reluctant (as always) to go to the bedroom with his wife, asked if he could at least have the television on so he could watch Get Smart while they were doing it.
When you lucky people who have this set already (my wife has not yet authorized the expenditure from the family budget) have time, and if you also have the 1990s TV Land and Nick at Nite episodes on video, please post which scenes on DVD did not air on the 1990s tv run. Initially I thought those...
This was a superbly written, very entertaining show. It's creator, Fred Goss, who played the lead, has been keeping people apprised of DVD news at his myspace site. Last I checked, it didn't look good -Fred thought all was a go for a DVD by the end of the year, and then it turned out there were...
Two of my DVD players can play multi-region. Do the UK episodes have all music intact. I heard mixed reports on whether the UK season sets, when released individually, had all the music.
