Yes, a collection of the 4 Craig movies on UHD in HDR is coming according to some retail leaks.

The Daniel Craig movies are coming in a set, according to some early retail leaks posted elsewhere. Actor sets seems a good way to do these, hope Brosnan follows soon after.

The bummer is digital exclusives will get more and more common. That recent Melissa McCarthy drama only came to disc on DVD for heaven's sake, yet it's streaming in 4k HDR. Obviously that's a movie most wouldn't buy, which is why it happened, but that kind of thing is gonna get more and more...

It's obviously headed toward a niche market like the laserdisc days, but that's not the same as "out." And two companies deciding to focus on phones while 6 or more still make players isn't saying anything against that. No offense intended, but people are too dramatic and quick to call something...

I found this very fun and enjoyable personally, and the visual style is first rate. The script dialog is the movie's main weakness, but everything else is much better than reviews imply if you ask me. I'm not someone who hates remakes on spec though, so... *shrug*

I guess people are buying these old masters with a couple new supplements and a slipcover, but I'm not one of of them. If they subsidize the remasters Shout sometimes do though, I'm happy they exist.

It's one of those times where I think the disc looks exactly like it should, and fully matches the intent, but man I dislike how it looks anyway. If it was a noir detective movie or something it would work fine, but it's basically an 80's feeling blockbuster and the look just doesn't suit it at...

Once Disney takes over I'd guess their same strategy of only remastering their huge classics will take over as well. Planet of the Apes still qualifies though, so hopefully we still see it someday.

No, nothing is required to include a code. Lots of releases don't have codes. Also usually when a label like Kino, Shout or Arrow do a remaster its exclusive to that disc and won't be on digital at all.

Makes sense for them to try UHD out with something more mainstream and popular, and this is pretty mainstream and popular by their standards.

I believe the Blu-rays have the 4k masters of the Connery and Lazenby movies and a couple Moore movies, but the rest are all older masters. Until Casino Royale anyway, everything after that would be the same DIs. Which Moore movies are the 4k remasters... I know Spy Who Loved Me is, but not sure...

To keep the conversation focused on Bond in 4k I will say that Goldeneye remaster is truly stunning. Despite my issues with the sound quality it makes me want to buy more of them, at least the ones not from 4k masters on Blu-ray (like Moonraker and up I think?). Hopefully they come to disc...
