Arthur,right you are.Whenever I think of a/v gear I still think of music.For movies I can see this may be a good thing.

I have it,and don't use it.The less I alter the signal the better for me.

I guess I agree,without the rest of the kit to back it up the Rotel would be of limited benefit,good luck.

Wow,to suggest Pioneer over a Rotel,I guess the gizmo guru's knew what they were doin'.Too bad sound quality has now taken a backseat to gadgets.btw,I own Rotel and Pioneer

I had a Rotel 1056 for 2 years,sold it on ebay,lost $100.I sold my 3802/03/05 for 1/2 of what I paid.Something to consider also.The buying public must be somewhat informed on Rotel.

For reliability Denons great,I've owned many.If you have owned a Rotel you'd know why they are musically superior.

If all you need is HT any decent avr will do.

If you listen to a mid priced Onkyo and bring in a mid priced HK you'll hear the difference.

Be happy with the 7200 for now,I owned a 7120,it had poor sound quality to my ears,it went back.The 7300 was $999.00 last weekend,w/$25 off card and 18 months no money finance.At that rate anyone wanting a decent avr could have scored a deal.

Did I miss somethin'?maybe what kind?what size,new/old etc..I do need one.
