Yeah! It just started having the red blinking light of death too. I just watched this video and I’m thinking it might be a speaker. Going to try what this guy did to see if the receivers still work without having anything plugged into them, speakers or sources.
I’ve replaced it with the Yamaha RX-V4A and now it seems to have fried. I pressed the power button, the screen on the unit flickered some then it wouldn’t turn on.. is there a way to check for dirty power?
