Fantastic review there Ron. Enjoyed this film immensely in theatres. Probably my pick for one of the best films of the year. Still waiting for my Amazon order to ship, hopefully it will arrive before XMAS.

Have experienced a subtitle problem on my Toshiba 2109. But that seems to have stopped. Also I experienced a complete pause the first time I watched the movie. Just went back a couple of seconds and played again and it worked fine. I tried playing it again and the pause is completely gone...

This is great news. Hoped it would come out before 2003. DVD File has a bit more information up about the DVD and states that there will be DTS as well as Dolby Digital 5.1 Tracks. Christmas is going to be great! ...and expensive too

Haven't gotten around to purchasing Amadeus on DVD. One of my favorite films of all time. Haven't seen the Director's Cut as I don't recall it ever getting released anywhere near me. Hopefully I will enjoy this new cut as much as I enjoyed the original as I have already pre-ordered it.
