    a new award shouldn't be introduced - at least not in any main category. a nice "hey good job" trophy, maybe, but no "best supporting digital character". too much is split between the tech aspects and the actual acting aspects. :

    dj is right on. they couldn't (or didn't want to, or couldn't afford to) show 'gore', so they had the victim just fall over. that kind of thing still happens in movies, but now they can afford squibs.
