Some ok comments, some clueless comments, most of em seem to be annoyed that it's not geeky enough.

Eh, just a bunch of layfolk spewing forth ignant conjecture. Being a computer geek myself, it's frustrating that computer speaker reviewers are pretty much the same. I'm quite confident that they never conduct frequency response tests (since they never mention it), yet they'll casually claim that a tiny underported enclosure with a 4" driver has good response down to 20Hz and then some.
