Sure, the Toshiba 540 Progressive output will work great with component inputs going into a Toshiba set with 540P (Colorstream Pro they call it). But is there any problem sending progressive from a Toshiba DVD player into a Sony or other set that takes 480P with component inputs? I am talking about a Toshiba SD-4800 DVD Player in particular.

They are not 540p, they are 480p with 540 lines of horizontal resolution.
