Onkyo 595 remote problems (1 Viewer)

My remote is acting up and I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem. Sometimes when you are doing something in the "reciever" mode, switching from v1 to v2 or just changing the volume, the entire set of modes will light up and the remote will not send the command you asked it to. It has also done this when doing a vcr command by lighting up the four center mode buttons.

I had been using a one for all 7200 (a non-learning, but it won't turn off the reciever!

I had exactly the same problem with my 696. I changed the batteries and the problem immediately went away. It was extremely annoying while the situation existed. Hope this helps.
